Kentucky Bourbon Cake

I got a small bourbon cake from the bahamas “factory” while on my cruise in July. It was phenomenal. So I thought I would order a few to have at home and share with friends and family. I’m not sure if its because its the larger cake or because of shipping, but i opened the large Kentucky Bourbon one and it was extremely dry (compared to the smaller one i had when i visited the factory in person). The package wasnt vacuum sealed very well, so maybe it was a malfunction with the package. Regardless, we are extremely disappointed with these larger ones that were shipped to us.

The cake was moist, but the alcohol was strong. I chose this because it was recommended by many, but I wasn’t a fan.
