Bisyodo S-501 Powder Brush, Shiori Series

Large soft and dense!

Absolutely amazing and soft for synthetic fibres. I've pounced both Shiori bristles and squirrel brushes against my skin to compare. Neither are pokey. I think they are similar, except for the higher density in the synthetic brushes means that it feels slightly firmer, and the bristles don't feel as prone to snapping. This brush is large and dense with perfect bundling. If you hold it up and wave it side-to-side the bristles will bend together and are somewhat floppy. There are two reasons I don't use this as much as other powder brushes. Firstly, it's incredibly big and I have developed a preference for more targeted powder application. I like using it for blending over my powder cheek products at the end. Second, using it over liquid foundation it does seem to get moisture stuck to the bristles which impacts functioning if not cleaned. This is probably because I don't load it with enough powder - I only want a small amount on my dehydrated skin. So keep this in mind if you plan to use this for loose powder application.
