Review Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens

I use this lens on my well-worn Sony Alpha 7 II and the lens is absolutely trouble-free. I got the quality that should be expected from this class of lens. But here’s what I really like is the fast and precise autofocus for such a big lens. I like to shoot car races and airshows and both require fast focus. Living on the East Coast of Florida, I also photograph rockets at a range of about 50 miles and autofocus is tricky because of low light and sometimes haze. I was able to get clear shots of a recent SpaceX launch in non-optimal conditions. In summary, this lens performs perfectly in my somewhat difficult type of photography. Yes, shots of birds come out fine, but they’re less challenging than rockets and race cars.
