I really enjoyed this matcha in my lattes. Smooth umami. Not bitter or astringent to my taste buds. Will definitely be buying more of this Seasonal Joyo No. 3
I bought some cause someone recommended and they had a sale which would offset the shipping cost, I’m glad I did! This matcha is strong in lattes when using 2 tsp which I have been looking for, I don’t like mild matcha lattes. It is on the nutty side, when made as usucha does some grassy tones come in, as usucha it is slightly bitter (not too much) and a little bit astringent, but again, not too much. With some sweets it’s yummy. Anyway, I really really liked this matcha, hopefully there are more sales in the future so I can buy again.
