I had one goal when I set out to research and purchase the best Peacoat, and the Private White delivered on every aspect. The fit is tailored but not tight. The attention to detail in the construction is second to none. And lastly, the performance in a brisk wind, shielding you from its ill affects, is beyond reproach. I love this coat and am so happy I made the investment in this garment.

Ive seen the private white defender round the village where i live (it lives right round the corner from me) and I was always keen to go to the shop for a mooch. I tried the peacoat and flying jacket on and immediately wanted both. I also tried the waxed jacket on too which was fabulous. I opted for the peacoat as that’s what i really wanted as had been looking for one for a while… it really is the most amazing jacket! Looking forward to going back to the store again.

Navy peacoat

Took me a while to bite the bullet and finally order the peacoat in navy as I had my eye on it for such a while. I knew it would be good but it surpassed even my expectations. So beautifully made, expert craftsmanship at its best, fits superbly and has had a few acknowledgements whilst wearing recognising how good it looked. If you have been looking as I had I promise it won’t disappoint.
