Overall, the watch is great. I customized the dial and strap to make it my own.

First Kit

Gorgeous watch and an impressive kit, especially for the price. Unfortunately, I had no idea what I was doing and ended up having to replace the dial, movement, and hands before it was finished. I don't think you can get a better watch for this price. I do want to point out a few issues that prevent this from being five stars. First, the sapphire crystal has a couple of cloudy spots on it that I cannot remove. It adds some "character" to my finished watch, but a spotless crystal would have been nice. Second, the instruction manual was slightly confusing about which dial feet to trim off...hence why I had to replace the dial. In general, the instructions are pretty limited--I would suggest watching youtube videos before you start. Third, while the tool kit has been mostly pretty good for this watch and two other kits I have made, one of the watch hand removal tools fell apart after the first use. These won't be confused for professional grade tools, but they've gotten the job done.
