AMSEC Sliding Drawer Handgun Safe

Great, well built and sturdy handgun safe. Love reliability of the simplex lock and the thickness of the safe. There are a few things to point out however. The bottom edge of the door is lower that the bottom of the safe so it was really designed to be bolted to the top of something if it is on the ground it will need to be elevated to ensure the door bottom is not dragging on the ground. Also there is no hydraulic or other assist for the drawer, you will need to give it a good pull and if the safe is not bolted securely you can end up pulling the entire safe body as you open the drawer. To bolt the safe, you will need to pull out the drawer by pushing locking latches built into the sliders and pulling out the entire drawer. The safe has no instructions on how to do so and you'll have to figure it out yourself. There is no mounting hardware. You will need to buy appropriate bolts washers and nuts. I used 1/4x1" Stainless Steel Hex Head Screws Bolts, Nuts, Flat & Lock Washers. Obviously you will have to order the bolt length that suits your project.
