Sadly, not a scientific clock

I purchased a 'Tide Clock' after reading the blur. It sounded like I could put it on my wall, next to my window overlooking the bay and harbour, to watch the tides rise and fall with some accuracy. Whilst being a lovely piece of wall art, well made (and British !), it sadly isn't scientific and doesn't match the tide I see from my window. It measures the overall lunar pull, and doesn't take into account local fluctuations. It's more a lunar clock than a tidal one.

A lovely gift

Bought the moon clock for a very dear friend's birthday, everyone thought it was beautiful and I think a few people have bought one after seeing it. Lovely piece.

Ideal gift for lovers of the sea

Bought as a present for a French neighbour who lives by the sea and regularly check tide times for fishing and loves the accuracy and clarity of the display. Would highly recommend
