This thing is fantastic! I had an Apple ][+ as a kid. I've been wanting one for, heck, decades now. I finally got one put together and couldn't help but lurch with every whir of the disk drive. "It's going to fail, isn't it?" I'm a former engineer turned architect and started going through all the, what I'm sure are regular, hoops. I hooked up to the cassette port and used A2 Disk Server to send a few things across. I found C2T, then ADTPro. I started fiddling with getting the serial card configured, but it got me that there had to be a way to take advantage of a flash drive. I started looking into floppy emulation and found Floppy Emu. Candidly, I didn't click buy and instead began investigating emulating the drive myself, but after looking at the drive controller and Disk II specs, I resigned myself to a purchase. My Floppy Emu came in today and I've been using it for 9 hours now. I need to sleep, but can't. This has brought back that thrill. It's effortless to use and reliable.👍🍎
