This is the most unique puzzle I have ever seen or worked. There is a larger print copy in the box as your guide to the finished product. It has pieces unlike any other puzzle I have worked. About 6-8 pieces are in dog related shapes. The vast majority of pieces are connected with hook-like appendages. The edge pieces have a black border that provides an outline of the dog when finished. Not every piece is held in place with the hooks. In some cases, even on the edge, the pieces are just sitting next to each other; they eventually will all be connected with the next “row”. The pieces are very small. When I was finished with the puzzle, I did take a black marker and used it to mark the actual side edge just for my own reference. This puzzle is challenging, but I thoroughly loved putting it together, and will absolutely do this puzzle over and over.
