Classic Wisconsin® Custard Cashew Butter

This is cashew butter, through and through. It has a rich and creamy, slightly sweet cashew flavor. If this product were advertised as simply “cashew butter”, i’d give it 5 stars. Unlike some of these other protein nut butters, it doesn’t have that cloying/slightly bitter aftertaste, which is a plus. But the word custard, with a picture of frozen custard on a cone, is included. I couldn’t taste any of that, which is what I wanted. I added 0 calorie sweeteners, extracts and flavorings, neutral oil (for consistency), white choco chips, powdered milk, and finally a well-known English brand of custard powder before I achieved something close to what I imagined this would be. Thankfully I was able to achieve this mostly with ingredients I already had in my cupboard. The cone chips add a nice touch! I plan to finish my concoction rather than discard it. I am unlikely to repurchase this product if they don’t alter/improve the recipe.

I love this one so much. The texture is great, and I love the crunchiness of the waffle cone pieces.

This is most definitely one of my favorites. I love the crunchiness in every bite.
