Dress is good but fits a little big and padding is weirdly shaped

It’s so bizarre to me that they ask you to put in your exact sizing but it always ends up being too small. I bought two dresses one was too small the other was too big. The material is okay but extremely difficult to work with when you need to alter the dress.
