Good. Vertically polarized filter might be better.

Takes a bit of fiddling to get mounted properly. Remember to align the little white arrow as described in the instructions. Seems to help with glare, including at night. Cars with highly sloped windshields, as most are now, in my experience have strong reflections of the dash much of the time in the day. This I have found is the real killer, often making unfiltered dash cameras virtually useless. This circule polarized filter helps significantly, but traces of those reflections are still there, just you can see through them. Since the reflections (as opposed to glare) are strongly horizontally polarized, my vertically polarized sun glasses makes the reflections completely invisible. Thus, in my experience, the reflections are a bigger problem than glare, and a vertically polarized filter might be more useful than the circular polarization. That said, my last dash cam was useless without a filter and this one is very usable with the circular filter installed. So I'm happy with the result.
