This is my family's favorite game

Land of Eem has become our family's go-to role playing game. Both my kids (age 9 and 12) are into it, and my 9-year-old daughter regularly acts as our game master. The ruleset is not simplified so we end of doing a lot of improvising when she is the GM, but it's a total blast. The illustrations are wonderful, and the whimsy of the different folk is great for all ages. Highly recommended.

I bought Land of Eem for my family (okay… mostly for me 😄), and I was completely blown away by the quality and care poured into this game. From the moment you open the box, it’s clear this is something special. The books are stunning—gorgeous, vibrant color, thick high-quality pages, beautiful stitch binding, and they lay perfectly flat on the table. It’s a joy just to handle them. The game map is equally impressive: a sturdy, high-quality foldable board that honestly puts most modern board games to shame. Every component feels premium, thoughtful, and made to last. Beyond the physical quality, the game is packed with an incredible amount of usable content. It’s beautiful from start to finish and brimming with imagination and adventure. I’m beyond excited to run my six kids through grand adventures in the Land of Eem. This is the kind of game that sparks creativity, brings everyone to the table, and feels like a true labor of love. If you’re even remotely interested, this is an easy recommendation—an absolute home run.
