Along with my Custom Urushi in Vermillion, this is my new favorite pen. The FM nib is incredibly smooth. And while the largest pen in my collection in terms of length and girth, it is very comfortable in the hand. The urushi lacquer has a softer feel than my Montblanc and Pelikan pens. The barrel from the bottom where the nib is and through the threading does not have any sharp edges, adding to the soft and comfortable feel. I have generally stayed away from converters because of their lower capacity, but the capacity on this converter is fairly good. And ink flow is wonderful. All in all, I love this pen. Intended it to be a special signature pen. But it has become my daily writer.
