Not metal. Nearly full plastic body, very lightweight and cheap. The lack of weight makes for a fairly bad writing experience.

Love the functionality of the 4 inks + a mechanical pencil. As far as appearances, the metal design looks great, with a very high-engineered appearance. Grip is comfortable, mechanical pencil system is simple and easy to use
