Although I do enjoy the medium toasty notes coming through the espresso, generally have struggled getting the best out of the beans since you've got to literally nail the grind size to perfection. Wouldn't normally expect this behaviour if a coffee is considered an "espresso roast ". But when you do get a perfect extraction, it is a great blend of flavours , amaretto is a nice touch.
