The class covered all the basics, making it perfect for someone who is just starting to explore the world of whiskey. The presenter was exceptional – knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable. They made sure everyone felt comfortable asking questions and provided clear, concise explanations throughout the session. Starting off we dove into the process of how bourbon is made, from grain selection to distillation and aging. We then moved to proper glassware, learning why the right glass can enhance the tasting experience. The highlight of the class was the tasting session. We sampled a variety of whiskeys and learned how to identify different nuances in flavor, aroma, and finish. The presenter guided us through each step, teaching us how to appreciate the subtle differences and complexities of each pour. Overall, this class was informative and fun.
