TL;DR: It's goood; buy it.
I love the Link Wrench. It's dope. It's titanium, so it's super light. I don't own it.
But this review isn't for the Link Wrench. It's for the Link Cord.
I already had a Park Tool CBW1, which just so happened to be my first tool ever (I remember getting it as a gift when I was around six years old--don't ask me what six-year-old me needed a wrench for); it's the cool, older, chromed one from Park Tool's glory days, and it has sentimental value, okay?
Anyway, I really liked the idea of the Link Wrench, but I already had a wrench in hand that I loved. So, I went ahead and ordered the Link Cord to "link-ify" my wrench.
Don't even think about buying your own Dyneema cord to make these yourself. Trust me; I thought about it (and researched it, and prevaricated over the upsides and downsides), and it was a waste of time. Give credit where credit is due, support the creative folks here at Forager, and buy it from them. It comes pre-cut into three, perfectly-sized lengths with the ends already glued to prevent fraying; it's packaged in a cute, recyclable envelope, and as of this writing, it's $7.50--you've spent more than that on a single, fancy beverage with your friends, and that fancy beverage didn't get you out of a jam while you were adventuring in the Oregon outback (or was it Aussie outback? Who's to say...).
