Lunchbox Ideas
I am still reading this book which is written for easy reading and gives great ideas and instructions for interesting lunches. The best part of the book--the pictures! Shows you exactly how to do it.

The Bible for Meal Ideas
This book takes away the guess work out of school lunch and snack ideas. It is a bible for great food masterpieces. The possibilities are endless and creating varieties are seamless. The book gives ideas for just about every kind of eating habits in children and adults alike. If a parent and/or caregiver follow the ideas in this book, preparing school lunches and snacks will develop into a hobby, instead of a dreaded chore. There are ideas for every kind of diet and eating habits. The menu ideas promote healthy eating habits that will empower every child to continue the healthy eating practice. The different menu combinations of fruits and vegetables, along with foods from the different food groups, will undoubtedly excite the tastebuds of the pickiest eater. In as much as I love the menus in the book, there is a lot of reading to be done. The authors of the book should consider the time it will take some people to read the book, and since some parents have busy schedules, they may not have the time to read every page. As such, parents may be tempted to skip directly to the menu pages, thus forfeiting the benefits of the information in the reading. Condensing the reading or focussing on the most valuable information would be more beneficial. Some of the information in the reading is not as helpful as the authors may have intended and therefore, the amount of reading defeats the purpose. All accounted for, the book is still a great resource for parents and/or caregivers who are looking for new ideas and suggestion for school meals.

My daughter loves this Yumbox carrier
It is super convenient being slim but if can carry a Panino 5c, an ice pack and a napkin and utensils. It does feel chintzy though on the inside. Other cases we've owned from Yumbox didn't have a crackly plastic protector on the inside. At first I thought maybe I needed to peel it off but it's very secure so the only thing I can think is they designed it that way. The handles are a bit flimsy too so we'll see how long they last with a third-grader. So, 4 stars with some reservations. But it does the job.
