ORD Rock Slides for the L663 Defender 90

Just got done installing ORD’s “treesliders” on my 2023 L663 D90 and I’m pleased with the results. I’m confident they will keep the sides of the Defender well protected. Ordering was very easy via New Defender Mods website which provided clear cost and shipping costs. I also give NDM credit for listing the weight. Shipping was very fact and since it came by 2 day, arrived in great shape. I got support from a technical advisor (thanks Taite!) for my questions on installing and support after for additional questions. I also got technical support from ORD. The sliders don’t come with instructions however they do have a video which shows the major steps. My defender came with factory classic mudflaps which had to be removed on the front ( discussed with advisor before purchasing). Install was relatively easy, I’m not an expert technician. You will need to remove the underlayment, cut the underside of the black trim in two places on each side (shown on video, utility knife will work) and I did need to make some minor mods to the drivers side mount of factory aluminum transmission plate (my experience on my 90)I have not fully explored options for modifying/reattaching the factory underlayment, however it would require some work. Factory aluminum (transmission and engine) guards, with the one modification mention above, are easy to reinstall.
