Good basic bar
This is a good basic bar. The knurling is just what I need--good grip without ripping my hands. Based on the reviews I read before purchasing this bar, I shied away from those with a more aggressive knurling (I'm not deadlifting 1000 pounds, so I don't need that much). I have a Texas Power bar, which I prefer for squat and deadlift but really like the Delta basic bar for bench. That said, I do recommend this bar as a good affordable general purpose bar. It shipped quickly and was well packaged. The only criticism I have is that it's made in China, and I prefer to support products made in the USA.
