MOssy Oak 8-Panel_Country Roots Cap

This is the first Boston Scally cap / type of cap I have ever owned after years and years of encouragement from my nephew in Missouri who is a huge fan of the caps / style. I've worn this nearly every day since receiving it (other than when I am on the ball field coaching the youth teams I am involved with) and the only thing I dislike about my purchase is that I did get both Mossy Oak Camo patterns when I ordered the Country Roots. New purchase occurring soon! Thanks for all you folks at Boston Scally do, keep up the hard work. Now you guys need to team up with Comfrt and make caps in their camo patterns so I can be fully matching when I wear my sweat gear too! Ha!

Favorite hat

Truthfully, I like so many hats. I do have a collection, but I have always been a camouflage person with camouflage. It does matter on name. I’m not a Macy oak fan, but the camo pattern is beautiful. I am a realtree fan so hopefully these guys will come up with a real tree and I’ll still purchase it.

Runs small

I have been a 7 1/4” hat size my entire adult life. When ordering this in a smal for a 7 1/4 it came back uncomfortable tight. This is what it is but the shipping falls back on the buyer and that kinda rubbed me wrong. When the m/l arrived it too was snug but the fit is much better and I’m sure it’s going to break in over time. The quality is great and the hat itself is just what I was looking for. Just beware they run about 1/4 to 3/8” small in size.
