Pegasus Astro Motor Focus Kit Zero (For SCTs)

This product is well designed and robust, and a pleasure to use. At time of writing I’ve tested in the daylight and eagerly waiting for rain to end to use at night. I’m a visual observer that frequently needs to make course focus changes, followed by fine focus. I had found that another motor focuser I had tried took a frustrating long time to make the course focus change. With this product, the manual encoder knob on the associated Dual Motor Focus Control allows me to make large focus changes quickly by manually turning the knob through a number of turns, knowing that the stepper motor will quickly rotate the telescope focuser knob to the desired position. It’s quite small and light so I had room to install on my Meade SCT (it’s designed to fit Celestron scopes, but PegasusAstro gave me helpful advice regarding fitting it to my Meade) and it is easily counter balanced with a small weight.
