These boots were a revelation. The confidence they give on tiny holds allowed me to up my grades on only their second outing. Despite a lot of outdoor use and then indoor through the winter, the rubber on is still going strong while the uppers are in perfect condition. Obviously the key to a good boot is fit and they won't work for everyone. For my non-pointy feet, these really couldn't be better - like a second skin - and surprisingly i take a 1/2 size down compared to my other Scarpa shoes. 1 caveat though is the blunt toe doesn't make them the best shoe for pocketed limestone

Fantastic shoe, best shoe I've ever used

After trying on a few boots at the Rock and Run showroom I felt this was what I needed after suffering from painful feet after quite short climbing sessions. Out on the crag they were a total revelation allowing me to stand on small holds with ease and even toe pockets and slopers were not a problem. Totally recommend both this shoe and the Rock and Run showroom service where you can try out loads of boots in a relaxed unhurried atmosphere with expert advice.
