2005-2023 Tacoma Traveler Add-A-Leaf AAL (stock springs)

Great addition to my Tacoma

I have a 2019 DcSb TRD OR, it has a tall topper on it and I keep a couple hundred pounds of cargo in the bed. Around 100k it started to sag in the rear end. The add a leaf has brought me back to about the stock ride height the rear had when it was new with no topper. It may be even half an inch higher, even with about 450lbs in the bed. The height increase is perfect paired with Bilstein 5160's. Between the additional springs and the new shocks the ride is better than it was new, less float, less jittery on washboard roads, less body roll and smoother over bumps and potholes. Instillation is pretty straightforward it took about 4 hours to add the leafs and install new shocks. Shipping was fast, overall I've had a very positive experience!

Let me start by saying I was a little hesitant. I called and the owner took the time to explain to me what I was getting and what my outcome would be. And that is exactly what happened. I would consider myself a weekend warrior. I two a small camp trailer about twice a month. I have an overland rack with a little weight added. And just recently put a drifting lift on that netted +\- 2” in the front. This spring with the bump stop is perfect. It absolutely leveled my rig again and I really can’t tell that there is a helper spring. No more squatting rear end. If you are on the fence about this and you have seen horrible pictures of lesser quality helper springs on Amazon. Fear not. This is the one for you. And if you are going to be doing all the work to add the spring, you might as well get the bump stop and u-bolt flip. Thank you for a well engineered product and outstanding customer service.

Good AAL, easy install

Overall happy with the traveler AAL. Ride is a little firmer, but not harsh, even with no added weight. On a 3rd gen, I got only about 1.25-1.50” of lift with no added weight.
