What if a technical manual were a coffee table book?

As a career beverage alcohol professional, I could not be more delighted with this on my reference shelf. Any distiller or aspiring rum blender would be remiss not to have a copy. It did fall off my dining room table and frighten a dog, but that's gravity's fault more than the (massive) book's.

Modern Caribbean Rum is beautifully laid out, well organized, with an approachable writing style that drew me right in. I like how the subject is presented from the simple beginnings to a comprehensive tome that leaves you wanting for nothing--except a lovely rum cocktail. Or two.

Must Read Encyclopedia of Rum

This book is encyclopedic in knowledge, but is so well written I couldn't put it down when I first got it. Must read for anyone interested in rum.
