Five Blessings 五福临门 Modernized 1910s Qipao & Majia Vest Set

I wrote a review for the dress, but I had to write a separate review for the vest! The vest is very comfortable and is of good quality. The inside has a lining, which I found to be comfortable against my skin. The detail in the fabric is also very beautiful and subtle. The embroidery is also very well done, and matches so well with the qipao. I am a bit bustier but this vest fit very comfortably and there is no digging or stretching of the fabric when I put it on :) some extra wiggle room so I can dance at my friend's wedding (and eat good food!). So happy with my purchase!

Loved this qipao so much! It reminds me of my great grandmothers' qipao that she wore in her pictures. The dress is slippery and smooth, so if you have texture issues and don't like that texture then this dress is not for you. It is on the thinner side and is (what I find to be) perfect as a spring or fall dress so you can layer it (maybe with the matching vest? 👀). You may need help getting the buttons done because the button holes can be tight! They will loosen over time, though. In the picture, I showed the edge/taping/finishing near the collar, and it is also found around the arms/sleeves. I found this part to be very pretty since the purples go well together. Overall, a great find and deal! I'm excited to wear this to my friend's wedding in the fall!
