On gen2 Rivians this priduct atays powered on at all times. This means thst your phone will have problems disconnecting if you park near your home and will randomly reconnect when in range. Additionally, it create a permanent deain on your 12v battery. While this device apparently works well with Gen1 vehicles, it has serious problems with Gen2 vehicles.

Seems really cheap. The display makes a lot of rattling noises while I’m driving. I’ve tried repositioning it and it doesn’t help. It does what I need, though, which is primarily to let me do hands-free texting.
