I was advised by a friend , whose son-in-law is on the professional golf circuit to purchase a Galvin Green Rain Jacket because although they were expensive, they were well worth spending the money on. The jacket is fantastic and kept me dry during a recent competition.

Wore the jacket in two rain storms recently on the West Coast. Stayed dry through both events. Thoughtful application of side straps allows for good movement while swinging. Even with wind driven rain I stayed dry under the jacket. Purchased the jacket on sale, well worth the sale price. I never would have purchased it otherwise. Very expensive for regular price.
