Corset Zip Jacket - Crimson

Absolutely love the corset jacket!! The design is so clever. I love being able to see my watch while doing a run or walk. The mitten mode is also handy and the huge hood will fit over a ponytail or hat and snaps to stay on. The only critiques I’d make - I wouldn’t say this is a jacket weight. Being from Wisconsin, with actual cold, I own sweatshirts heavier than this, but it is a good weight for running when there’s a little chill in the air and I don’t get too hot in it either. I just don’t think it’ll help outside our warmer months. The sleeves are a little long for me for all day wear, but work really well during a work out. I wouldn’t size down either. The fabric is super stretchy, but has no structure to hold you. It’ll just show every curve. I fit right in the medium measurements on this size chart and that one works great, the small wasn’t so flattering.

Crimson Contours

I do love the jacket's crimson shade, zipper pockets, soft inner lining, thumbholes, shapely contours, and buttons for the hood. However, my only complaint is how the raised collar sometimes sits awkwardly around my neck- flopping back and forth when not fully zipped or buttoned up.

Wish sleeves were longer… one of the things I LOVE about POPFLEX is that they have extra tall options for us tall folks. I am 5’9” and that also comes with long arms. I love thumb holes but these sleeves are like an inch or two too short for me to use them comfortably. This is an issue I’ve noticed on other items from this brand that don’t have as stretchy of fabric. If I don’t use the thumb holes, the sleeves are a totally good length. But I’m sad bc I bought this top primarily to use the thumb holes and little glove when you flip the tip of the sleeve inside out over your hands. I just can’t use it comfortably bc it pulls the inside of my hand— and if I flip the fabric over my hand, it is stuck in a fist and is uncomfortable. I am usually a medium and this fit is pretty good. I wanted it a bit loose so I did not size down. I love the attention to detail, like having a hole in the sleeve where your watch would pop through, and I love the design and quality of the hood. It’s oversized which is cool and also has buttons to clasp it so it doesn’t fly off as easily if it’s windy. You can also remove the hood which is cool. For the price, I probably won’t purchase another one (unless they come out with an extra long sleeve option!). But I am very happy with the fit and cut of the jacket. Side note that I’ve washed it about 3x now (cold water, hang dry) and the color from the zipper is pealing off. I’m not personally upset about it but kind of annoying for how much I paid.
