Got this for my 2 year old because I was looking for a fun advent activity, and I despise the shelf elves. She’s a little too young for some of the cards that come with the set, but they will come in handy once she’s a little older. I’m very happy with the dolls and the set and she loves her little Mary. Still is getting used to finding her every day but when she does finally find her she gets very happy. Overall I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and engaging advent activity to share with their little ones!

A wonderful way to help families celebrate Advent

I’ve always been anti-Elf on the Shelf. Do the children really get anything out of it? It just seems like lots of work for the parents in the end with no real message. Mary on the Mantel is a wonderful way to do a fun activity with your children and made Advent extra special! My Children love seeing what message Mama Mary has for them each morning!! What a great way to encourage them to be charitable and spread kindness to others. I’m so glad I decided to add this to part of our family’s yearly tradition.
