Poor packaging leads to problems

I’m actually happy with the shoes, but I have some creases in both of the pairs I ordered. It is 100% due to the poor packaging. They came in a bag squished together. There was paper inside of the shoes, but that’s about it. I have creases on the front toe of one pair and then the back of the other. When you pay 170 bucks for a pair of shoes you expect a lot more from the packaging. The packaging messed up my shoes. I’ve had to do a lot of work increasing and fixing my shoes. It’s pretty ridiculous that they came packets like that. I’m gonna give it a three star because the shoes are great. But honestly, the patching was so bad. I’m tempted to give this a one star.

Really like them. I should have ordered a size smaller, but will make it work as I’ve worn them to work already. Also bought Chuka and happy with those as well. Better fit.

Good shoes

I was drawn to these by their simplicity, flat sole, and wider toe box. I received them in the mail several days ago. First impressions: they are a bit heavier than I thought they would be, mainly (I think) because I opted to add the 2 mm rubber sole. They appear to be very well made, and the sole should probably last forever. The leather is good and pretty looking. The interior of the shoe bed has stitching that you can feel against your feet, and it's a little rough right now. I hope/expect that it will get softer as I wear them more. Regarding sizing: in EU shoes, I wear a 47, but I wish I had chosen a 46. Even though it might have felt slightly snug, I anticipate that the leather will stretch a bit. I wear them without socks, so that would have been better.
