Ridge Ripstop Short

Great Value, Comfortable, odd sizing

compared to other brands out there, you can't beat the price of bearbottom, esp for cotton. basically half the price of most of their competitors and seem to have good quality fabric. these ripstops have good pockets and feel very durable for more outdoorsy activities. excited to wear them more one note is sizing is odd for me. i'm 5'9" 180. typically toe the line between medium and large in brands, but most of the time medium fits perfect. the mediums here are very tight. could pull off if i wanted to but i'm looking for more movement/room with these. the biggest issue with the jump to large is the leg opening. it's noticeably wider for a "medium" sized person and kind of looks odd straight on. could be a me issue but kind of caught between sizes. keeping because of the value and comfort. they'll do what i need them to do and ultimately i'm probably the only person noticing.

Good but would like in a lighter moister wicking version. I should have read it was 98% cotton before buying, as others have mentioned - They are thick. I was hoping for something lighter weight for hot summer days. Maybe these will work for Fall. Would have returned but it was $7 shipping, makes more sense to keep.

Thick, durable and comfortable

I'm wearing these as I write this - these are really durable and comfortable shorts. The black color marks quite easily with anything light, but I like that they are thick shorts while still being breathable
