Wonderfully comfortable the moment I put them on. This colour is a perfect neutral shade to go with any dress or skirt. As a petite in height, it wasn't easy to find a 13" shaft height in a neutral like this, in any brand. I removed one star because it didn't have a higher heel height that a woman might want for fashion and wearing it with dresses. I had my shoe cobbler add 1/2" to the heel height and now it's perfect. Wish that Lane made a plain Jane version with round toe in 13" shaft heights and 2- 2'1/4" heel too. Highly recommend ordering from Lane: my boots arrived the same week I ordered them!
