Men's Solid 1" Elite Split Shorts - Forest Green

Just bought two more of these - love them.

I’m reviewing my second purchase, buying two more, which tells you what you need to know - I think they’re great! They’re simply the best for me for running - you just set out and forget about them, Complete freedom of movement and a wonderful breeze passing though them. They’re barely there! Now I don’t want to run in anything else. One thing to bear in mind is that they really are split up to just 1” below the waistband. I’m fine with that but if you’re not then they’re not for you. And wind will blow them about exposing the liner…. of which more below. And apart from a tiny little key/card pocket they’ve no carrying capacity. They are really quite minimal. As for that liner: It looks as though BOA do read reviews. One of the objections previously has been that the liner is a bit big and is white which really stands out under a dark short. But these ones have a black liner, which is much less visible. However the criticism of it being a bit big still stands - it has a 4” side, which seems a strange choice under 1” split side shorts. So, although it definitely looks better I think I’ll do the same as I did before and remove the liner (a simple job). But surely they could come up with a skimpier liner, or even offer it without a liner? So, over all they’re improved from last time and they’re my favourite running shorts. Sometimes I’ll go for a run just for the excuse to wear them!

You can steal Apollo Creed’s Fit from Rocky III with these shorts. If you’ve ever watch Rocky III and remember the training session where Apollo gets angry at Rocky for not dodging his punches. You should remember the quote, “Dam Rock, Come on! What’s the matter with you?” Rocky, “Tomorrow, let’s do it tomorrow” Creed, “There is no Tomorrow! There is no Tomorrow! There is no Tomorrow!” These shorts are amazing and I hope everyone buys them to bring back that classic 80’s style.
