26" Kent Bayside

Came in a damaged box where the side of the box was gashed. Both fenders are also damaged and bent. The front brake line was rubbed, exposing the brake cable. So, the front brakes don't work. Called company customer service ok only open from 8-12 pm until after New Years. I left a message that I haven't been contacted back yet. The sad thing is the bike was for my son as a Christmas present, so put the bike together. Knowing of these issues just so my son could wake up and come downstairs and see his bike he asked for. I'm not too happy right now.

Bike was badly beaten. After the normal assembly it took 2 more hours to straighten everything that was bent. Another hour to get the shifting the work and then 2 hours with rubbing compound to get out all the scratches. Would have been better off to just repaint it or return it.
