I used a universal down rod from a box store on my Parrot Fan and it would not hang level. I contact Parrot and they were more than happy to assist with a custom down rod made for my fan model. I ordered a 48" down rod and we changed our mind after ordering. No problem. Parrot changed the order and refunded the difference in price. When it shipped, I asked for tracking info and they sent me tracking from China and Fed Ex. Received the down rod in about 14 days and it works like a charm. Thanks to those who answered my questions and assisted (Pam). Great experience and now it is time to enjoy my new fan light,

the order arrived separately, 30 days later, I couldn't wait any longer, shipping it back

I see that people have similar problem, but I love the fan, so yes problem with downrod shipping, wish I knew, online it said that they have it in-stock
