Beaded Opal Medallion Charm

I liked the overall shape/style of this charm. I very much disliked the opal stone. Each and every time that this item has been shown on BG’s site before and since my purchase, the color of the stone has been blue. The one that I received was green and at no time has BG indicated in the description that color could vary. I would have returned this item but for the fact that I was on vacation and couldn’t return in time to mail it back. The stone also seems to be of lower quality. I will probably not order any charms with any stone except diamonds, which come with a grading system.

While its pretty the opal is a pale green- looks more like jade. Disappointed because I bought this based on the photos with the deep blue opal.

I purchased the opal and gold charm and twisted rope connector. The opal is a denim blue and not as fiery as shown on the website, but I love it. It’s really pretty and big enough to show up on an outfit without being overwhelming.
