Here's how I compare it to the standard 3-piece paddles that come with a SUP package: 1. Its nearly half the weight, feels great in the hands 2. The design makes for much more efficient paddling 3. It does not twist because it has a keyed channel that prevents twisting 4. The locking mechanism is better crafted 5. It comes with a carrying case 6. It looks soooo nice with that bamboo! Easy decision for me. Nice product NIXY!
