They work (good Roo whistles)

These whistles from Carac "RooRepeller" are the real-deal. Yes, they do emit an audible whistle, but unlike the cheap ultrasonic units sold elsewhere, these do work and I've had multiple instances of Roo and Deer encounters (in Victoria) over the past 8 years where the animal has simply stopped in its tracks, be it on the roadside or middle of the road. Sorry, Wombats only hear "food". But they do not stop silly Roos whacking into a stationary parked car, OMG. So why did I buy more whistles, simple, a new car.

Okny half happy with the roo repellent, biught a oack of 4 only 2 work? In other words 2 are silent and 2 whistle
