What Lies Beneath

This book is awesome, I had so much fun playing it. The only reason it wasn’t a five star is because the dexterity check system could use some improvement. But the game is super fun it’s like a choose your own adventure book with more rules and dice.

Easy to learn, classic TTRPG

It’s giving 80s/90s “Choose Your Own Adventure” meets Dead Cells, and I say that as a compliment. I’ve played as two characters thus far (I made it to a Victory with the second) and, while I think some bits may get annoying with repetition, the game’s fun and has some interesting mysteries to solve (if your luck lasts that long).

Easy to pick up. Hard to put down. I play it as a DM Narrator with one of my littles as the decision maker and dice roller. They love it.
