Soft Brown With Blue Shimmer

Citrine Mirage is an interesting ink. I expected something of a soft dark taupe with silver, but in reality it is at is much darker orange brown and fits with the title much better. The shimmer is a bolder blue than the photo and it actually goes well with the blue undertones of the ink. I'm not sure I like it, though (the blue shimmer) though it does give the brown a frosted look that may be kind of cool during winter. No pun intended. There is no sheen, average shimmer, and no shading. It worked very well in my fine nib pen with an average flow.

What a perfect gold to catch the hues of desert landscapes! The silver shimmer puts one in mind of glittering dunes under a full moon.
