Fairphone (Gen. 6)

Works Great in Canada

Based in New Brunswick, Canada. I don't lose reception. Speeds are fast, and faster than my Pixel 6a. Super happy to see how long I can prolonged the useability of this phone. I bought 2 and a USB-C port replacement to save on future shipping.

Disappointment

I was really hoping this would be my phone to last for years, but it's just not good enough. I'd hoped to degoogle it, but the different ROMs are just too buggy. The cameras and speakers are garbage. The speakers are so tinny they're painful to listen to. And if you're not in Europe, you get zero warranty, you're not allowed to even send it in and pay for repairs, and if you can even find a store that will ship replacement parts to the USA, shipping will cost more than the part. Otherwise the phone itself was fine, but there's no way I'm getting stuck with this for 5-10 years. Can't return it either since shipping would be USD$200 so I'll just be trying to sell it myself...

Good phone, clear screen

This is my first android phone after twenty years of iphones. I went for a fairphone even though living in Australia because it is the only one I could see that takes social responsibility seriously and attempts to make a phone that is supported into the future. Delivery was quick and arrived in good order. It is a bit of an adjustment but I am getting used to it, it is a good phone and I would buy one again.
