Bitburger - Pilsner 0%

Two of my favourite full strength German beers were Warsteiner and Bitburger. Bitburger 0.0% is as close to the original as possible and it is well done. It begins with an aroma of dry, softly sweet maltiness underlaid by tangy, spicy hops giving a nose of new mown hay. This carries on into the flavour with the hops taking a larger role. The malt flavour is slightly less but still very prominent, producing a lovely, quenching beverage. Excellent!

Closest 0% alcohol beer to the real thing in taste.

This is one of the best non alcoholic beers I’ve ever tried. Rich, full, malt flavour combines with fairly assertive noble hop character producing a beer that is probably as good as the 5% version. I can’t detect any of the tea flavour note that usually accompanies non alcoholic beer. Excellent beer!
