I liked the idea of having everything together as a kit, makes perfect sense for sure. However, I think the fly line should come on a spool. When I connected the backing and started putting the line on the reel it became a mess very quickly, I spent the better part of twenty minutes or more untangling it.

Great for beginners

This is a great kit for anyone just starting out. The world of fly fishing can be daunting to enter and this made it much easier for me to get started.
