Power Functions Kit for McLaren F1 #42141 Motor

Great product..

Simple but Qwerky

I was able to mod the McClaren car in about 3 hours with minimal setbacks. The only remaining issue is that while using forward the gears slip. Reverse gear works great and the steering is fully functional. Please help with providing a remedy for the forward gear. It does not slip when the car is not touching a surface.
