Matter over Thread Door & Window Sensor

Perfectly works. Perfect standard design. ❤️‍🔥 All things is great but you can’t use simultaneously the Tuya app and your smart home controller such as Google/Amazon/ Home. It just doesn’t work. Tuya app (or Smart Things, that’s doesn’t matter) is needed to check and update firmware. So if you want to do that, you should reset this sensor, connect to tuya, do something you want, re-add to your home. And so from now you can’t use tuya app after adding sensor to your home. Also you can’t connect it to Tuya without additional thread hub (border router), even if you have a HomePod, for example. Tuya (as well as others like SmartThings) cannot find the device in the existing home infrastructure and for this you will need an additional simple tuya’s thread border router. But if you don’t plan to update the firmware, you don’t need it. So just add this sensor to your home and use. That’s it. I ordered 4 more of them. Mostly satisfied.

After 2 weeks the sensor disconnected and had to be reset to connect again. Worked for another 5 minutes and now it is disconnected again and won’t stay connected. Very poor quality. Should have stuck with other well known vendors. Very disappointing.
