There was a noticeable difference between the ruby and boron models. Music details were more evident but harsh at times. Sadly the needle contacted the rubber mat on my turntable and the diamond tip flew off. I’m using a sapphire stylus now which is good for now. I don’t know what I was thinking when I wanted to listen to 45s. I should have changed to the boron stylus at that time.
