White bronze

I am looking for a classy to replace the white copper I had been using that was discontinued. This is the best option I've found so far. Lovely consistency and easy to work with. However, I did find it to have a shorter with time before getting crumbly. And some of my pieces air dried with a domed shape, even though I kept flipping them to try to prevent that. They improved a little bit after firing, but not entirely. And it's my understanding that I can't hammer them out of anything to flatten them. Is this correct? I will keep using this and just try to take these things into consideration but would appreciate any tips you can give me. I did watch the video class done by Debby and it was very helpful.
